I had such a blast this past weekend. I spent the weekend in Frankenmuth, MI area with about 50 other women stamping and doing challenges. It was so much fun! I got sooooo many cards from the weekend. We had a giant swap, then we had a bunch of challenges, and projects to do. Then we also had some free stamping time. I won’t be able to share all the things that I’ve done… it would take up way too much of your time. I will share more and more as the weeks go on.

Here is one I will share with you tonight. This card I made for the GIANT swap. I had to make 52 of these cards I got this idea from Melissa Craig at Stamp It, Scrap It, Share It. (Melissa, doesn’t this card look familiar??) I loved her card so much that I had to borrow her design… I just made it my own with my stamps and colors . The stamps are papertrey Butterfly Kisses. The card is folded a little differently which adds to the interesting design! Thanks Melissa for the inspiration

I don’t have any new cards today… but the anticipation of many more to come. This weekend, I’m going to a Card Making Get-together in the Frankenmuth, MI area! There will be about 50 of us ladies out there. So, if I’m not chatting too much… there will be lots of cards for me to post when I get back. I’m so excited about this.

So why am I bummed? I had applied to be on the design team of ANGEL WINGS & CRAFTY THINGS, but I didn’t make it. I really will be ok with it in about an hour… but right now… I’m just bummed. It’s ok… I will just keep crafting. Really, I love their site and have really gotten involved in the boards there. It is small right now, but I know it will grow very soon. The people there are great! Check it out! The good news… I am going to be a guest designer for them in May. I’m very excited about that

I made this card tonight for the February card challenge at SCS. This was a sketch challenge. I’m going to use this for my cousin’s wedding card. He is getting married in a couple weeks. (Yeah… I’m ahead of the game!) Anyways, I got a lot of this stuff from Wish RAK. I don’t currently have any Bella stamps, but I definetely have them on my wish list! They are so fun to water color. Anyways, I have another card to share, but it is going to have to wait until my secret sister gets it… I don’t want her finding out it is from me
